Susan, As long as it's OK with Jeff Mikorski it's OK with me but we'll have to negotiate with him to find another way to finish the movie. I'm meeting with someone from the WVU Center for Civic Engagement this afternoon. She may be able to provide us with a student that can do the work, but this will mean Positive Spin having to spend more time. It seems fair that we should be compensated for this, I'll talk to Jeff about it though. Please feel free to stop by today as scheduled if you can. I regret to inform the bike board that I will not be permitted to help complete the video for Positive Spin. Because my position is part time, my supervisor said this type of job is not within the scope of my responsibilities as a Public Communications Director. I apologize for the inconvenience. Frank, Change #5 (accomplishments) to past tense to match other items in that heading. Was the meeting with Terrence and the WVDOH where both parties agreed to split costs of the climbing lane this month or the previous month? Do you want to mention meeting with Tom Arnold concerning bike locker placement? Was the proposed parking for the Farmers Market mentioned last month? Thanks for doing such a great job. Evansdale campus plan

Bicycle Board Members, Scrolling halfway down http://assets.slate.wvu.edu/resources/358/1315316197.pdf you'll see a map and a list of changes WVU plans to make to the Evansdale campus to make it more pedestrian friendly. For example, closing Evansdale Drive and Rawley Lane to motor vehicle traffic and consolidating parking lots. If you have any comments, please reply all. This plan was cursorily discussed by the MPO Citizens Advisory Committee of which I am a member. It may come up again so if there's any bicycle-relevant input, we should probably give it. Frank D. Bicycle Board Members, Attached is a preliminary report to the Traffic Commission that I'd like your concurrence to present at next Wednesday's TC meeting. I wrote the attached in a hurry and probably made some mistakes and left some things out so please help me. Also, the TC hasn't met since September so I might have omitted something that we've done since then. Frank D. Thanks to Danielle for sending us the link to the presentations made at the WV MPO conference. You might find the Complete Streets and Statewide Bicycle Study - WVDOT interesting. The Complete Streets one seems a little bike lane heavy to me. Wes Stafford's Statewide Bicycle Study presentation looks encouraging as long as competent cyclists are in the drivers seat or at least not in the back of the bus.
