Jeff, Please find the updated grant application at http://db.tt/L7J1A8K . You should find 7 files there. Of the files at http://db.tt/L7J1A8K, only BikeLaneGrantAppToBBv06.doc is different from the package that I sent you in March. The changes are tracked so you can see them. Please accept the tracked changes before you submit the application. (Damien may want to update the cost estimate (files Cost Estimate for Monongahela Blvd-2.doc and TotalCost.xlsx) based on recent discussions about using paint rather than retro-reflective vinyl.) The application is due February 29, 2012 for a May 2012 award. In the application document, BikeLaneGrantAppToBBv06.doc, you will see comments. These comments are of two types. One type of comment is instructions from the application form that I cut from the form and pasted into comment bubbles. Practically every section has these instructions. The other type of comment identifies information that the application requires or that I think it needs but that I don't have. I hope you can easily read through the application to, 1) see that I've completed most of the requirements and then delete the relevant comments, and 2) complete the parts that I couldn't and then delete those comments, and 3) roll all files up into one PDF and submit it. Christiaan Abildso is personally acquainted with Bikes Belong CFO and agreed to alert him to our application once we've submitted it so could you please notify me when the application is sent? If you have any questions or need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me. "Let's Start Biking" youth cycling skills video - Script and Video edits

Good morning, I've just finished making script and video edits, they are attached. The script should now conform to the video exactly for all of the scenes that have been completed. The video edits reflect all of the things I could find. If you have additional comments on the video please send them to me in a format similar to the one I've used that gives the sequence time at which the comment applies. I'll collect them and send them to Bobby tomorrow nite. Both of us have used up all of the hours we committed to on the contract but we still want this to be a finished product that presents well and gets the message across effectively. Bobby thinks he's got about 6 hours of work left to get to that point, and he expects to have that time while on the road this weekend. For final delivery, Bobby will send a DVD on Tuesday and I'll provide an invoice for payment. Once the video is accepted we'll provide 5 copies in HD resolution with boxes and printed labels. Chip asked if Bobby will edit a PSA out of this. I assume the answer is "yes" since we've talked about it before, just let us know which scenes you want. Thanks and have a great weekend. "Let's Start Biking" youth cycling skills video

Good evening, I received the video in rough draft form from Robby at about 6pm today. We viewed it on his computer and since that time I've been figuring out how to upload it to YouTube. It now available at this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ic1XlJKZVM I apologize for this additional delay, due entirely to my unfamiliarity with the process. I'd like to make the following disclaimers about the video in its current form: - The whole thing is in rough draft form. This is as much as Bobby could get done in the time available. He's spending the rest of his time before leaving getting ready for his trip. He thinks he has about 6hrs work left to get it in final polished form. That will include finishing the Title Page, Intro, musical soundtrack, graphics and concluding scene/credits. - He expects to have time over this weekend after he gets to Orlando to complete the work. He'll send us a DVD Tuesday, and final copies with cases and graphics following our final approval. He has already exceeded the number of hours he forecast on the contract, but is willing to put in the additional time necessary to make it look polished. - I've reviewed it myself and am making some comments, which I will post tomorrow morning. Bicycle Board Members, In a telecon with me, Wes Nugent declined to be the TC's rep on the BB because he's committed to work on a Mainstreet Morgantown Economic Restructuring committee that also meets Thursday nights albeit somewhat before us but perhaps would sometimes overlap. He suggested Adam Henry from 5th Ward or David McKain from 3rd Ward. At past TC meetings, Adam has expressed both to the TC and personally to me that he is interested in what we're doing. Let's Start Biking!

Good afternoon, I talked to Bobby about noon today and he's nearing completion of the video editing - he's through scene 4 of 6 and expects to be done by 5pm today. I told him that seems to be the consensus of the Bike Board that the State will probably allow us to turn it in on the 6th, and he said that although he flies to Orlando, FL tomorrow his workdays will typically be over by 3pm so he'll have more time to work on it this weekend. We agreed that it would be best if he have a complete edit done by 5pm today, and we put it up for the Board to comment on via YouTube or similar format (I'll provide the link at that time). I'll email him any comments I receive for him to make revisions. Sorry for another delay, but it seemed that everyone would be served best if we use the available time to make this the best possible final product. Thanks for your patience. I am, of course, taking it somewhat on faith that turning the video in on Tuesday won't disqualify us from payment. Please let me know immediately if that's the case and we'll get something there today.
