Hello board,
If you are free next Tuesday evening (April 19th) at 7:00pm, your presence
would be appreciated when the city proclaims May 2016 as Morgantown Bicycle
Month. We plan to concurrently announce the specific dates of bike month
events if the occasion allows it.
You can find the council meeting agenda here
<http://www.morgantownwv.gov/wp-content/uploads/4.19.16-Reg.-Mtg..pdf>. The
proclamation is scheduled early in the meeting, immediately following the
approval of the various minutes. So even if you're only available for a
short time around then it should work!
Thanks particularly to Brian and the Bike Month committee for putting this
together. And thanks to all of you in advance for your support!
Best,
Drew
Drew,
I'm ok with you registering the new BFC account under your name, but before
doing so, please consider how long you plan on being around Morgantown,
awaiting input from the rest of the group for sufficient amount of time for
them to provide input, whether or not you think that's best suited for the
Chairman's role, and whether anyone else actually wants to do it.
After looking at those considerations and getting input from the group, I'm
fine with it. I think you'd do a good job with it.
Thanks!
~Derek

Good morning,
I am contacting you today because your community is currently designated as
a Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) by the League of American Bicyclists. I

Hello all,
Please find the attached agenda for our April board meeting next Thursday
(April 7th).
You will notice 3 read aheads which are not attached to this email -- one
of them is the website www.bikemorgantown.com, so peruse that at your
convenience. John Whitmore will send you the parking ordinance proposal
early next week. The project assignment matrix was sent to you by Christina
10 days ago on March 22nd.
The open action items list will be sent out prior to next meeting and will
be attached to the printout of the agenda distributed at the meeting.
If you have opinions on or would like to contribute to the following
projects but will not be present at the meeting, please send an email
indicating so and I'll get you plugged into the right working group: bike
month, website updating, SLM/BMUFL outreach plan.
Thanks, see you all next week!
Drew
