According to the data, how many rock-cyclist crashes have there been on a WV road in the last, say, 100 years? More or less than vehicle-cyclist?

"When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking.” -Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Subject: [Bikeboard] Mon Blvd. Bicycle Climbing lane

Fouad resists installing the Mon Blvd. Bicycle Climbing lane because a falling rock might hit a cyclist.  Attached are two photos of Huntington bike lanes that were installed in the door zone.  The probability of a cyclist getting hit in these door zone bike lanes by an opening vehicle door is much higher than a cyclist riding up Mon Blvd. getting hit by a rock and yet, WVDOH must have approved these DZBLs if not actually installed them.
