Good morning all, I am not sure if you picked a date yet but Saturday, April 13, MRTC is planning a Wharf Art Walk as a fund-raiser for the rail-trail and event for national Opening Day for Trails. It will take place from 12-5pm. You are welcome to join in with a table or an activity along the trail. Let me know if you would like to know more details.
Is new bike infrastructure the bike lanes and sharrow markings? They are worth celebrating! just making sure I am on the same page. Thanks, Ella

Hello everybody,
A few quick updates. Drew and I met with four MDS students from WVU to discuss working on developing a promotional strategy for the new bike infrastructure with the goal of having an event in April. This will be their Senior Capstone project. I saw some of you at the public meeting at the MET Theater last night put on by ALTA, the firm hired by the MPO, City of Morgantown and WVU to work on refining our bike/ped plan. There were surveys at the meeting last night, but they will also be available when the site for the project goes live next week. Be sure to go to the site next week, look at the preliminary info and fill out surveys. Be sure to post info on your social sites to get your friends involved too.
I know several folks will not be available for a meeting tomorrow, so we will cancel. If there is interest in doing a meeting next week please let me know so we can reschedule. It would be nice to get some initial feedback from our MDS students to review and give them feedback to keep them from spinning their wheels.
I'll be in touch.
