Bicycle Board Members,
Does anybody know of any WV bike lanes that were funded by the State?
As you know, one reason the Mon Blvd. climbing lane is stalled is that the City doesn't have funding for it. In my opinion, the WVDOH snookered the City into even discussing funding it. Since Mon Blvd. is a State highway, the State should be funding it. If we can show them that they've funded bike lanes elsewhere in the state, we'd have a basis to argue that they should fund this one.
