Next Tuesday, June 1, I will meet with Officer Steve Bennett of the Morgantown Police Department.  The primary purpose of the meeting is to establish collaboration between the Police Dept. and the Bicycle Board on the video spots that we plan to shoot June 6.

I would like your suggestions about how to make the best of this opportunity not just with regard to the video spots but also the entire Bicycle Board scope.  

Friday 5/21, I met with Assistant City Manager Jeff Mikorski and Chief of Police Phil Scott.  I described the videos to Chief Scott  (see attached scripts) and suggested collaboration. He agreed and named Officer Bennet point of contact.  I understand that Steve is the lead officer on the bicycle force.

On 5/18, I met with Danny Camden who is a WVU bicycle police officer and International Police Mountain Bike Association instructor (excellent program) and he also was very supportive of collaboration.  

My goal is to establish a joint Bicycle Board, Morgantown Police, WVU Police bicycle program.  I don't know what it will be and I need your ideas.
