Happy New Year! The MPO will hold two public meetings on a Metropolitan Transportation Plan tier 1 project amendment.
The first meeting: Training Room, Mountain Line Transit Administration Building, 420 DuPont Road Westover WV, January 9, 2019, 4 to 7 PM.
The second meeting: MMMPO Offices, Monongalia County Courthouse 243 High Street Room 110, Morgantown, WV, January 10, 2019, 6 PM
The purpose of the meetings will be to review the MPO’s Tier One Priority List with the public and to request comments on the possibility of including improved access to the Morgantown Industrial Park in the fiscally constrained plan. Including improved access to the Industrial Park will require the MPO to remove or reduce funding for projects from the existing fiscally constrained “Tier One” Plan. Attached are informational material for the meetings.
We need your input for the following questions
· Question 1:
Do you agree that the MMMPO Metropolitan Transportation Plan be amended to include the Morgantown Industrial Park Access Project as a Tier 1 project?
· If you agree, question 2:
Do you have any suggestions on which tier 1 project(s) be removed from the current Tier 1 project list, to make the amended Tier 1 project category fiscal constraint?
The MPO Policy Board will consider this item at a regularly scheduled meeting on January 17 at 6 PM at the City of Morgantown Council Chambers 389 Spruce Street Morgantown WV.
