First, please send an email if you want to join me and/or our assistant city engineer, Alex Stockdale, sometime this week to site and locate the locations of some sharrows and R4-11 (Bicycles May Use Full Lane) signs here in the next week. This could occur during the middle of the business day or after hours as convenient for those interested. It will be an excellent opportunity to get involved with the inter-month workings of the board.

Second, please send suggested agenda topics my way before 5pm tomorrow. I'll send out the agenda tomorrow evening.

We hosted the bike summit last weekend, and I've gotta say that it was a smashing success! Many thousands of thanks are due to all board members who pitched in with planning over the past year, and indeed many thousands of thanks are due to the entire board and cycling community here in Morgantown for making such an attractive community to host the summit.

I'll include a recap of my takeaways from the summit at our meeting next week, which include some exciting momentum generated for projects here around town.
