The DP published our letter and a letter from Elaine Wolfe in response to Sam Stone's letter.  She says bicyclists who can't keep up with traffic are foolhardy, selfish and rude.

This may be an auspicious time for someone else to write a letter.  Some things another letter might state:

Bicyclists travel on roads for the same reasons motorists travel on roads.

Motorists do not have a right to speed.

Bicyclists are traffic.

Bicyclists are motorists too.  Collect on Wolfe's bet.

Rail trail doesn't go everywhere people need to go.
