Anybody interested in getting together to participate in this on Aug. 27?
Apps for Advocacy (Mutual Aid Webinar)
Several state and local biking and walking advocacy organizations have created mobile apps to create pocket resources for crash reporting and other on-the-go information. On this webinar, learn how advocates around the country have approached advocacy apps.
If yes, I'll try to find a convenient location. I think participating together and then discussing after could lead to some synergy and fun. Of course, the webinar is 2-3 pm on a Wednesday which might require some schedule magic for some of us.
See thread below for a dialog between Christiaan and me on this.

Absolutely, feel free to send it on. I also would like the BB to consider having a public health graduate student work with them in the spring to survey local riders to understand their knowledge, interests, and other areas of interest to the BB. This could be accomplished through a course called Community Assessment (that the Ped Board worked with in Spring 2014) where a team of students works with a local non-profit or community group and/or through a Practice Based Experience, in which a single student does roughly 120 hours of work with an organization on a specific, time-limited project. Best, Christiaan

May I forward this thread to the BB with an invite to participate together?

Sadly, I can’t make it to the call on the 27th…my days are much more busy in the faculty world than they were when I was in the Coliseum. Any other BB members interested?

Thanks for showing me that. I registered. I know you've been interested for along time on using smart phones to track bike use and crashes. Could we participate in this together? Damien and I recently participated in a webinar together on managing advisory groups. We had a fruitful discussion following the webinar.
