Here, let's brainstorm his engagement with the BB if we have positive examples of things he has worked with us on.
* Established an objective to get Morgantown recognized as a Bicycle Friendly Community and supported application to the League of American Bicyclists that won Morgantown the Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community award: the only BFC award in WV a state formerly ranked 50th among bicycle friendly states * Convened WVDOT/WVDOH, WVU and MPO to forge a cost-shared agreement to install bicycle-climbing lane on Monongahela Blvd. between Eighth St. and Evansdale Dr. * Assigned a single point-of-contact between City administration and the Bicycle Board * Rode his bike to work on National Bike To Work Day May 18, 2012.

At a city council meeting I attended in December, possibly every single neighborhood association (not familiar with all of them) president gave a glowing appraisal of the work Moore has done in his short tenure in Morgantown. They spoke of his proactive attitude and ability to get major things done in a short period (recycling was a big one) as well as his warm and responsive communication style.
I'm supportive of drafting a letter documenting his engagement with the BB if we have positive examples of things he has worked with us on. If nothing else, that would be helpful for him in future endeavors.

If so, think there's something we should do to let him know we'd like to keep him here? Maybe we could write a letter, write several letters, or approach the city and let them know we think they'd be making a mistake letting him go? Should we act?
Any ideas?
