Nice to hear the city asking for this- good job guys. Here's my 2 cents (not adjusted for inflation)-
I assume we may be asked to prioritize, so the big ticket items are likely off the table, and the no-cost items can and should all be pushed.
I see items 4, 9, 15 and 16 as working synergystically to improve cycling for all & especially commuters so I would hope these could be a minimum set to receive funding. Be nice to tell everyone who participates in bike to
work week that these items will be implemented! Item 10 is fantastic and would contribute a lot to achieving our goals. Is the $30k estimate to fund the additions we might suggest to the projects or did you think that would be the cost of the additional communication
& project delays? It seemed it could almost be a no-cost item.
The only item I think would be wasted money is item 3. Until we have the rest of the city streets and the rest of the residents ready for kids biking to school I just don't see any use for 1/4 mile of access. It'd be better
for their health if they sprinted that distance every day!
Two non-topic items- as I pedaled past Morgantown High I noted 4 bikes in the rack by the front door! And, I'd favor including anyone who asks on all our communications and we shoujld promote the idea that any and all should
feel free to have input into what we do. (As long as we remain the only paid participants..... heh heh).

On April 4, Damien, Chip and Frank met to develop cost estimates for the recommended projects in the Greater Morgantown Bicycle Plan. This effort is in preparation for an April 17 meeting with Terrence for which he requested the Bicycle Board's recommendation
of a set of affordable projects and cost estimates for them. We developed estimates for the plan's 16 top priority projects. The attached worksheet, Apr4Est.xlsx shows those estimates.
With your concurrence, we will present the attached to Terrence on April 17. Please reply at your earliest convenience.
