As discussed at 1-8-2015 Bicycle Board meeting, a sub-committee was formed to develop a systematic plan for pursuing, obtaining, and managing grants for infrastructure, education, and other valuable cycling projects in Morgantown.
Meeting Outcome:
1. Establish initial plan for landing grants over next 1-2 years
2. Establish roles for members of Grant Planning Committee
3. Establish platform for how we will match possible funding with existing identified and prioritized Morgantown cycling projects.
4. Prepare status update for next Bike Board meeting (could occur after Grant Planning meeting)
For the Transportation Alternatives grant, Jing, Chip, and I believe Traci and Emily were planning on assisting with the grant-writing, and in the failure to submit a Letter of Intent, I'd like to request the same group of people and any other volunteers to help with future Grant Planning and attend this meeting.
I've suggested lunch times at Black Bear Evansdale since that seemed to work with this immediate group last year.
