Our city manager requested a letter of support for the upcoming City of Morgantown TIGER grant application. The TIGER grant is intended to fund the recommendations outlined in the recently concluded University Avenue Corridor study. In my opinion, from a bicycle and pedestrian standpoint, the plans outlined will serve the corridor and city at large very well given the constraints. Sharrows on the downhill, a climbing lane on the uphill, redevelopment of Grumbein's Island -- all very good, logical, and innovative improvements.

The timeline is short on this -- I am hoping to have the letter in to Mr. Mikorski's office before noon tomorrow, Tuesday the 26th. Please review my draft if you are able and send me corrections or edits.
