Wow! The intersections were busy. I hope I never have to bike in areas like those. Good to see how the big citiy intersections work.

Well worth taking to look at other bike-ped-car situations

Howdy Board!Have you seen the new bike lanes starting to take shape on University and Richwood? Are you getting excited or what?? Finally some infrastructure! Infrastructure isn't everything -- but it sure is visible.Speaking of infrastructure, the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) is soliciting input on bike/ped crossing facilities at alternative intersections. They're looking for participation from pedestrian and bicycle advocates, bicycle and pedestrian advisory committee members, bike shop owners, bike club members, transportation professionals, and local orientation and mobility specialists.
If you would like to participate in the survey, please click this link. The survey will take between 10 and 40 minutes to complete. The survey closes on August 15, 2018.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to others in the community who may be interested in participating or contact Shannon Warchol at sewarcho@ncsu.edu with contact information of those individuals. This survey is part of the National Cooperative Highway Research Program's efforts on 07-25: Guide for Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety at Alternative Intersections and Interchanges led by Kittelson and Associates, Inc.
Best,Drew
