there was too much stuff copied on this and I lost whatever we were supposed to be doing. I like the "lose your fear" one, if it still matters.

Bicycle Board Members,
Second election!
You have 3 votes. Please reply with your distribution of the votes among the following choices: A. Tame your fear with riding skills that reduce the risk of collisions
or
accidents B. Learn to Ride with Confidence C. Tame Parental Fears D. Learn to Ride without Fear E. Ride with Confidence F. Lose Your Fear and Learn to Ride with Confidence
Polls close Wednesday, Nov. 3, 5:00 pm.
As usual with multi-voting, you can distribute your votes as you wish. Example 1: 3 for B. Example 2: 2 for D and 1 for E. Example 3: 1 for A, 1 for C and 1 for F .
See discussion below. If less than 7 members vote, we will revert to the previous election results.

That would be good and the copy under the bullets could be edited to fit.
Chip
I propose that on the back side of the card we have something really
helpful. Like-
http://bikemorgantown.com/biketips.php
The attached Word doc has the 5 steps at 5.5 point font fit on 3.5 in x
2.5
in biz card space. I made two very minor wording modifications to make
it
fit: 4th bullet under #1, deleted "Always"; replaced "and" with "&" 3rd bullet under #2, changed "...reflector. Wear reflective tape or clothing" to "reflector and wear reflective clothing".
I printed it and can barely read it but can read it. We'd have to be careful that it is printed on the right kind of card stock to make the
sharp and durable.
I wonder what Gary thinks/would advise.
"Lose your Fear and Learn to Ride with Confidence"
I would have voted for that one!
Can we have another election?
Sure we can have another election. First, I would observe that if less
than
seven people, the number that voted in the previous election vote in the second election, that the second election is not valid because it's less representative of the BB membership than the first election.
Second, I would recommend that the following be our choices: A. Tame your fear with riding skills that reduce the risk of collisions
or
accidents B. Learn to Ride with Confidence C. Tame Parental Fears D. Learn to Ride without Fear E. Ride with Confidence F. Lose Your Fear and Learn to Ride with Confidence
Third, to get clear discrimination I would suggest that each member get 3 votes. Let's try it and see how it works.

Well it won anyway, or because, or something. I think.

Bicycle Board Members,
Well, there hasn't been any more discussion on the tag line for the
Confident City Cycling business card so it's time to vote.
You get two votes. You can give them both to one of the choices below or
distribute your votes to two of the following.
A. Tame your fear with riding skills that reduce the risk of collisions
or
accidents
B. Learn to Ride with Confidence
C. Tame Parental Fears
D. Learn to Ride without Fear
E. Ride with Confidence
Please reply with your votes. For example, if you want to give both of
your
votes to C, please reply "2 for C". Another example, if you want to
distribute your 2 votes to B and D, reply "1 for B and 1 for D".
The polls close 5:00 pm Thursday, October 28.

Bicycle Board Members,
The winning card design is #3. With 10 votes in, designs #1 & #2 were
tied
with 3 votes and design #3 got 4 votes.
Now, what should the tag line say? I think the discussion was excellent.
Following are the offerings in chronological order. I was hoping the
discussion would continue until we converged on consensus.
Confident City Cycling -
• Learn to Ride without Fear
• Ride with Confidence
• Learn to Ride with Confidence
• Tame your fear with riding skills that reduce the risk of collisions or
accidents
• Tame Parental Fears
If nobody continues the discussion on these by next Tuesday, I will ask
for
a vote on them.

Bicycle Board Members,
Thanks again to Gary Rodosta for creating the attached options for
Confident
City Cycling business cards. There are 4 options in the attached file.
Please vote for the one that you think would be best for making available
at local bike shops and other venues at which to advertise our bicycling
education program. Since number 4 is basically a black & white version,
please just vote for 1, 2 or 3.
Based on your votes, I'll take the winner to the printer by the end of
this
week.
