Some of you may remember the Green Space Coalition that was founded in 1995.  The West Virginia Land Trust is inviting interested people to discuss many of the noble goals, including connecting together green spaces at a meeting on July 31, 5 to 7pm, location TBD.

Greetings everyone,

The West Virginia Land Trust, represented by Brent Bailey and Rick Landenberger, would like to invite you to a ‘meeting of minds’ addressing green space opportunities in Monongalia County next Thursday, July 31 from 5 to 7 PM. The focus will be on the green space system in and around Morgantown, but we will consider other Monongalia County green spaces as well. In particular we would like to discuss opportunities to both connect existing green spaces, and expand the system where opportunities exist.

Attached is a draft agenda to guide the discussions. Please feel free to pass it around and invite like-minded people in your respective circles. I am searching for an appropriate meeting location, and will email the group when that’s finalized. In the meantime, put on your green space hats and consider what a 21st Century Mon County Green Space System might look like. The possibilities are pretty exciting.

Please RSVP and let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Rick
