Mr. Wamsley will be giving a presentation about bicycling in Morgantown over the years, this coming Wednesday, Oct. 15th, at 7p.m., at the Morgantown History Museum. Those who love bicycles – and bicycling will find this presentation very interesting. One of Chip Wamsley’s early bicycle frames will be on display for this event. A reception will follow the presentation.

Mr. Wamsley’s presentation will be part of the Speakers Series, attached to the Smithsonian Hometown Teams exhibit which will be on display at the Morgantown History Museum until November 15, 2014. Hometown Teams examines how sports and recreation in the United States have changed society from the late 1800s through current times. The Morgantown History Museum collaborative exhibit, Morgantown and Sports, examines sports and recreation in the Greater Morgantown area, from the early 1900s through current times, both in the area schools, county and city recreation organizations, coal camps, businesses and ethnic organizations.
