Please be advised that WVDOH will be allowing traffic on the roundabout at the Mileground and WV 705 beginning on Wednesday June 27th. This opening is due to the need to route traffic around the ongoing construction. The operation of the roundabout will not be exactly the same as when the project is completed due to the construction.
WVDOH is holding sessions to inform drivers on how to utilize the roundabout on Tuesday June 25 at the Morgantown Municipal Airport Conference room in the Administration Building. The sessions will be held at 11:15, 1:15, 2:15 and 3:15. The session will include a short video presentation and the opportunity to discuss the operation of roundabouts with a traffic engineer.
