Just got done w/ a 8 mile walk around town and beyond. Shame, shame, shame that sidewalks aren't everywhere and over in the wharf district what idiots came up w/ the grand idea of putting those big electrical "things" right ON the sidewalk. Talk about discouraging walking. They're about as bad as the tree "curbs" that crowd the sidewalks in downtown
Anyway, saw this web page on an LCI post- http://dynamiccycling.blogspot.com/ Sounds pleasant.
Ok, I'm just gonna have a beer now.
He had these quotes on his post as well- A city that permits 30 mph on residential roads will never be child friendly and will always deter physical activity.
Speed becomes greed when it stops us and our children from walking or cycling on our roads through fear of traffic.

Alright well that wasn't the link that I sent. Or rather it wasn't the link I had wanted to send. A snafu that I will blame on IE (hate it) and the fact that it was late and I was cold and tired...
Here's the link to the 20s fine for us- http://20splentyforus.org.uk/
Whew.
