Bicycle Board Members,
Just FYI. Some of our former members are trying to get something going for Bike to Work week and Bike to Work Day. I'm sure they can use some help.
From the communication, I can't tell who's leading the effort but if you
want to do something, let me know and I'll do my best to connect you up.

Nick, Hugh, Jim, Clement, Eric, Kimberly,
I am off to a conference in Toronto later today and have no ability to assist.
Your point is well made, Nick. However, we do need the person power to make it a go.
Wishing you well.
Bill
PS: Wasn't Frank's article in the DP just outstanding!!! Well written, motivational. Good effort.

Bill, Hugh, Clement, I'm in agreement for the most part, but I think we're missing a great opportunity to christen the Mountaineer Station. Wouldn't it be do- able to just have a refreshment and info station on Friday? And maybe one at the 'Lair too? Positive Spin can provide support with volunteers and logistics.
I'd hate to let this day pass without doing anything. I've always tried to do something every year since I moved here in 2003 - even before Positive Spin.
I've been checking Mountaineer station regularly and haven't seen a bike in there besides my own since Winter. People need a kick start and the info station would be a great way to get them excited about trying it. Could also advertise the Bike Board classes.
Thanks, Nick

Let me echo Jim's comments. I too am currently swamped.
Thanks to Jim and others, this was a wonderful effort last year.
Perhaps we should look at next year and attempt to find a student intern to take it on.

All: I can offer for use an update (attached) of the interactive excel
worksheet/program that was available during last year's event. I also can offer to do a live session centered around the use of the attached (e.g., green, economic and health aspects) if someone wants to schedule it during or before bike to work week. I'm afraid I'm too busy to do much else. Thanks.

Your thoughts?
