Gunnar,

As you are the contact person for the Bike Board, I thought I’d request that the board hold the city accountable for maintaining safe road conditions. In particular, I called the city about getting the shoulders of Mon. Blvd. swept, as the gravel and debris are gathering to pose a danger for those of us who need to use that route. I was told that the sweeper has been broken for a long time, and they were not sure if/when it would be fixed. The more the city hears about the need to take care of that, the better.
