Hello everybody,
I will be out of town tomorrow for the Bike Board meeting, but will be back next Tuesday. We need to get together to do plans for bike to work day. If you have been down by the riverfront park, you know that is a mess with construction going on. It would be nice to do a couple of locations, but with limited people, they would most likely have to be on different days. Put your thinking caps on and come up with some alternative locations. We might catch folks on the plaza by the public safety building as they are headed to campus, we could use the back deck of the Seneca center, possibly in front of the Grind. Let me know when folks are available for a meeting,
Hope to hear some ideas and try to finalize some plans next week.
Chip
I can meet almost any evening. I can meet during the day on Tuesday and Friday.

One of the really exciting Morgantown bike stories to celebrate this May would be Positive Spin's epic move over this Winter with a small band of intrepid volunteer into our new, amazing location at 1216 University Avenue.
We would be open to offering our store front as a meeting point for the beginning of the ride. It is going to be tough on the Jonathan's to wake up so early, but I have accomplished it before at other Bike to Work Days. It is easy both to arrive and to depart from our location either on University and or on the road under the bridge accessible from the RT.
Let's hold the event Friday, May 17, (10 am? :)) we may be able to get food / drink sponsorship from our local neighbors. We could always have a potluck breakfast, too.

If you are still looking for a spot on the rail-trail, there is a gathering point at the Wharf Parking Garage with space off the trail, portapots, bike racks, and nice back drop of the trail. As Chip mentions, Seneca Center back deck is also nice option. Just adding to the mix of ideas. Ella

Thanks all. Here is the final flier for the Suncrest Elementary ride. Please reach out if there are any questions. Mr. Schueler, the kids would love it if you could join us!
Warm regards, Beth Rota

I'm pretty limited next week, but wanted to share that we will likely have 4 schools riding on Wed May 8th - Bike to School Day. South MS & Suncrest MS, likely depart 6:45 or so (South from MHS; Suncrest unsure); Suncrest ES & Mountainview ES depart 7:45 (Suncrest from Krepps area; M'view from my house). Attached is the flyer for Mountainview.
We have MPD helping the ES rides, I'll probably hang the big banners at ESs the night prior. Always happy for help riding and/or with info dissemination! Christiaan

-Jonathan On 2019-05-01 20:30, Chip Wamsley via Bikeboard wrote: Hello everybody,
I will be out of town tomorrow for the Bike Board meeting, but will be back next Tuesday.
