Frank, Sorry to be a pest, but the announcement/attachment didn't make it through. Would it be possible to send the text of the announcement in an email? Is there another place I could get it from? I didn't see anything about the meetings in a quick web search, other than generalities. Thanks, Nick

I posted the following intro to the Monongalia Bicycle Club and the Country Roads Cyclists:
Here's an opportunity to emphasize to the WVDOT that all roads are bike routes and to tell them which would be good to improve for bicycling for example by improving the pavement, widening uphill climbing lanes and installing Bicycles May Use Full Lane (MUTCD R4-11) signs. (A couple years ago, a statewide bicycle plan that didn't make it beyond internal draft stage planned to relegate cyclists to shoulders and paths and prohibit cyclists from using the roads.)
I hope we'll at least get a good turnout in Morgantown on May 15.
I'm intrigued. The timing and distances of these meetings could make a nice WV bicycle tour with stops at each of the meetings to make spectacles of ourselves. Anyone interested?
Frank

I will happily attend the Morgantown meeting and attempt to time work travel so that I may attend other meetings. I'll also make sure my contacts in Charleston & Huntington have been notified. Christiaan
