Bicycle Board Members,

I only learned this week that Don Spencer is no longer a member of the Bicycle Board because he is no longer a member of the Traffic Commission.

The Bicycle Board's procedural guidelines, Word version of the document membership sectionrequire that at least one voting member also be a Traffic Commission voting member.

I guess the TC will eventually appoint one of their voting members to the BB. I don't know if we have anything to say about who they appoint. If they ask, I would like to have a recommendation with a justification for the recommendation.

The current Traffic Commission membership is on the City website at http://www.morgantown.com/traffic.htm but I think it is incorrect. My best guess at the voting members and who/what they represent is:

Roy Nutter, Chairman, Member at Large Ken Martis, Planning Commission Wes Nugent, City Council Margaret Roberts, 1st ward Paul Steel, 2nd ward David McKain, 3rd ward Chris Gluck, 4th ward Adam Henry, 5th ward Andrea Soccorsi, 6th ward Jamie Lewis, 7th ward

Don Spencer was the City Council representative on the Traffic Commission so he is no longer a member of the Traffic Commission because he lost the City Council election. Bummer.
