As you requested, here is a copy of the latest Bike Route Map with no aerials. When I took the aerials out, the file shrinks from 53MB to 1.2MB!
I've copied everyone else on this map. Frank is planning on riding the routes we've chosen to field verify them and compile areas that may be steep, have a preferred direction, one-way streets, areas with gravel, poor road conditions, etc. Please, if you have time, print this out and do the same. When I receive enough feedback or we ride all of the routes, we'll schedule a meeting to compile our additions.
Again, if you need a printed copy of this map, let me know. I can print a few at work, but not too many. Frank, Jim Rye, Will Ravenscroft, Hugh Kierig may also be able to help with printing.

I don’t have the software to open your attached files. I don’t even know what software that would be but I’d like to know just out of curiosity.
Sort of on another topic, Derek, how much trouble would it be to give me the bike route map that is just the streets, street names, bike route and streams? i.e. remove the trees. I’d like to be able to print something inexpensive, probably in black and white that I’d be able to ride with. I want to ride the bike route.

The aerials you'll need will be: Morgantown North NE, NW, SE, and SW Morgantown South NE, NW, SE, and SW Osage SE Rivesville_NE
Let me know if you already have the aerials or can download them quickly. I know you'll be able to download quickly at WVU. If you need I can get you a CD, but you can probably download quicker than I can deliver a CD!

I had a meeting with Frank and we think it would be valuable to look at the SLM map and the bike route map ad compare them. We are not asking you to do this... I was wondering if I could get copy of the GIS maps or at least just some of the layers and then I can put them on top of eachother an look at them. What version of GIS do you use? I will be using what is at school and I do not know what version it is so I will need to check.
Let me know if tis will be possible. Also if you are able to put the data on a cd I will come and get it from you.

Did all of these cities do an SLM study? Austin says they're still in the middle of their study. Chicago said they didn't do a study but used the San Francisco study.
