Hi folks, This meeting is primarily scheduled for Frank, Chip, Traci, and I to choose locations for the Bike Shelters as part of our application for the Transportation Alternatives Grant which is due March 14th. However, I decided to include all Bike Board Members and a few others in case you would also like to join us and guide the selection of locations. I plan to have a large paper map ready and also have a online map as a backup, should we need more zooming capabilities, etc.

I completed the Doodle. If we're going to meet at a restaurant, I suggest a restaurant that is not noisy and at which we can lay out the map as well as food, etc.
Kenyan Cafe has a meeting room with a large table. It might have to be reserved.

Hi Folks, No meeting today at noon, but I have reserved the conference room at the Kenyan Cafe for Friday, February 14th from 12-2pm. Put that in your calendar if you can make it, and I will follow up with a map and some background on what we plan to accomplish at the meeting between now and Wednesday.

Hi folks, This is a reminder that we have a Transportation Alternatives Meeting tomorrow, February 14th at the Kenyan Cafe from 12-2pm if it needs to go that long. I've attached a PDF map. Please take a look and let me know if you'd like to see any changes prior to the meeting. I know the map isn't perfect, but it's better to get something in your hands now. Hi folks, I hit send quicker than I'd planned on the last email. However, I created the PDF and ArcGIS Online map in the previous email for us to be able to choose Bike Shelter locations for the Transportation Alternative Program application based on our current Bike Routes (provided by MPO), the MountainLine Bus Routes and Existing Shelters (from MountainLine), Some Desired Shelter Locations (from MountainLine), Shared Lane Markings (SLMs) (previous Bike Board mapping), Bike May Use Full Lane (BMUFL aka R4-11) signs (from previous Bike Board mapping), and some Existing Bike Rack locations (from previous Bike Board mapping efforts).
We hope to turn the application over to the City Manager in the next 2-3 weeks.

Hey folks, David Bruffy reminded me that there are now two Kenyan Cafe locations. Make sure you go to the Kenyan Cafe at Chelsea Square, which is near the Chestnut Ridge Road and Van Voorhis intersection on 705.
