Dear LWV-WV Members,
This is a friendly reminder that State Council 2022 will be held this Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. Councils are held in the interim years between Conventions primarily for the adoption of a budget for the coming fiscal year.
Per our bylaws, the Council shall be composed of the presidents of the local Leagues or an alternate in the event a president is unable to attend, two delegates chosen by each local League, one delegate from each MAL Unit, and the state board. League members are welcome to join us.
We will also have a special guest speaker, Renate Pore, Chair of the WV Suffragist Memorial Committee.
The Zoom link and agenda are below. Several items related to the agenda are attached. If you plan to attend please RSVP by replying to this email to receive additional materials. Look forward to seeing you Saturday!
