August 28 - Spin with CRC! Fundraiser! Potluck!

Positive Spin wants to remind you about next weekend's extravaganza on Sunday, August 28. Beginning at 1pm at Positive Spin, we will join Country Roads Cyclists (CRC) for a ride up the Deckers Creek Trail to Masontown (milepost 13), then return to Positive Spin. Keep in mind that you can ride whatever distance you want, that is one of the nice aspects about group trail rides. Then we will have an informal potluck picnic at Positive Spin about 4:30pm. Please bring a dish to share, or food can be purchased in Sabraton. A grill will be available. Along with the potluck, Matt Marino will be hosting a fundraiser with Mayberry's lawman Barney Fife <https://www.facebook.com/events/511584839032828/> with all proceeds going to Positive Spin. The next Spin with CRC will be the Fall Spectacular Ride/Potluck on October 23 at 1pm. -Jonathan

We could use your help over the next three days!

Hello everyone, One hundred and eighty WVU students will be volunteering at Positive Spin over the next three days (Sunday - Tuesday). Our small group of regular volunteers could definitely use some help. Volunteer projects will be limited to beginner level tasks. Mechanics skills are not necessary to make a positive contribution! Students will be broken up into six groups of thirty, with one group volunteering each morning beginning at 10 a.m., and a second early each afternoon. We would be grateful if you are able to stop by and help out during any of those times. Thanks! Jonathan Nellis
