Bicycle Board Members,
Please find attached a draft monthly report to the Traffic Commission and a draft agenda for next week's BB meeting. Please review these documents and give me your concurrence or your recommendations for changes.
One item in the report to TC is that the City Manager is planning to review Bicycle Plan progress at the November 27 City Council Committee of the Whole. Do you think we should attend?
In the agenda, I've allocated 75 minutes to topic #7 which is for leaders to get help from the BB on the projects that we listed on the flip charts at the last two meetings. To proceed on topic #7 in an orderly fashion, if you're one of the leaders that wants to talk with the BB about your project, please let me know by Monday how much time you want and the desired outcome. I will then issue a revised agenda with topic #7 divided up to give each of you a defined slot.
You'll also notice that topic #6 is selection of new BB members. We have 5 vacancies: 1 City; 2 Greater Morgantown; 1 WVU Cycling; 1 Youth Commission. It would be nice if all candidates for membership attended the meeting.

Hi All,
I think we should try to send at least 1-2 people (or as many as possible) to attend the 11/27 meeting in case there are questions and to hear the discussion that may go along with the review. It would also be nice to have human faces to associate with the Plan, as a general show of support and enthusiasm. My schedule is clear, happy to be there!

Correction, the meeting is this Tuesday, the 30th. But I am wondering whether if will be cancelled because of Sandy, aka, Frankenstorm. :)
That being said I was already planning to be there because I want to encourage City Council to complete the vote-by-mail Pilot Program. Don Spencer, founding force behind the BB spoke about this issue at the previous CC: http://www.lwvwv.org/2012/10/22/participate-about-participation-with-vote-by...
Hopefully, assuming wires and trees aren't down, Frankenstorm won't prevent us from being at Council Chambers!
-Jonathan p.s. There are now at least three that will be at the COW assuming Sandy behaves nicely: Emily, Chip, and Jonathan

Spoke to soon, my mistake I was one month too early, there is a COW on November 27 so Sandy won't be a factor.

Please find attached, a revised agenda for this Thursday's meeting. I've received requests for two project leaders to give them some time on the agenda so I have. I also received a request for Emily to add a new project which I've added to the agenda.
